Description
The Simply CNC Curriculum is available at a board-wide level but priced based only on schools who are currently offering classes or maker spaces that are teaching CNC machining to students. Instructors will be required to learn the 16 module lesson plan which provides video training along with the PPTX version of the lesson plan that will provide them with the necessary skills to teach these same skills to their students. At the completion of the lesson plan they will complete a test, from our LMS (learning management system), to insure they understand the concepts necessary to effectively teach students these valuable skills. A 70% grade will be necessary to be issued a Simply CNC Certificate of Competency, a copy of which will be sent to both the teacher as well as his or her board administrator (head of technology education or CTE director as an example).
The teacher will then be able to use the same PPTX presentation as well as the corresponding PDF files to teach the students the same skills that they, themselves have mastered.
The CNC Curriculum can be used for any school using VCarve Desktop, VCarve Pro or Aspire to teach basic CAD design. It is an unlimited school license that can be used for as many students as you desire. There is no ongoing subscription costs (only a nominal cost should a newer version of VCarve be introduced but schools are under no obligation to purchase these updated versions). One module is dedicated to machine operation using Simply CNC supplied machines, however all remaining (15) modules would apply even for machines provided by other manufacturers.
To order online simply add the number of qualified schools you wish to enrol in the Simply CNC Curriculum in the “Quantity”. Alternatively, contact Simply CNC for a formal quote.
